A manuscript of my work from the early '90's received honors in 1994 when submitted to the Richard
A. Sefron Memorial Poetry Award competition.
This later appeared as the chapbook collection titled, BURNING HEADS,
published by VB Documentation Enterprises, Natick, Massachusetts, which is available on line two ways. From Barnes and Noble,

various publications.
Some news of interest concerns another east coast reading venue operating in New Jersey. I have been asked
to feature, and will look at my schedule. The date, if a suitable date is agreed upon, will be posted here in the future.

News Soon To Be Archived
I was honoured to read from Kerouac's On The Road with the New England Orchestra featuring Boston Symphony's flutest,
Fenwick Smith in a program of innovative works by David Amram.
I also was honoured to be included on the billing as one of three readers, in part, sponsored by
the Consulate General of Mexico, at Harvard's Peabody Museum for their Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration.
The Boston
Poet published a collection in which I was included and the anthology of post-Beat poets that I had mentioned, some
time back, finally unravelled itself from production snags and is for sale in China. It is currently in Chinese only, but
is a presence in their bookstores and may be available on line soon in English.
A healthy selection of poems from 23 poets whose names may ring a bell, such as Bob Holman, Mikhail Horowitz,
Vernon Frazer, Meg Smith, Cheryl A. Townsend, Anne Waldman, Janine Pommy Vega, Steve Dalachinsky, and Michael Rothenberg,
to name a few, were chosen as representative of extant work being produced by, or by poets significantly influenced
by, those in the extended Beat school (i.e., Beat, San Francisco, New York, Black Mountain, etc.) of poetic writing.
Best
wishes, L
